CKFD’s fundraising 501(c)(3) nonprofit CKFD Auxiliary, has been busy supporting the needs of our local fire department. Their latest purchases include an enclosure for the CKFD ATV response vehicle along with a brand-new snowplow that fits the truck they purchased for CKFD last year.
All fundraising efforts by the CKFD Auxiliary remain in Crown King and directly benefit our local community.
The 2023 CKFD Dinner / Dance and Auction proceeds will be put toward the purchase of an all-terrain UTV ambulance. CKFD responds to UTV accidents in an area roughly bordered by Cleator, Horsethief Basin, along the Crown King ‘back road’ from Lake Pleasant and north to approximately Palace Station. A UTV ambulance will cut response times considerably.
